High School Games of the Week

This week we have 3 state title games and 2 semi finals. Each one is a match up between the states' strongest teams and will be a toss up of who will come out on top. 

Preview these top matchups and tune in LIVE for another incredible weekend of high school football on the NFHS Network

1. #1 North Little Rock vs. #2 Bentonville (AR)

The undefeated North Little Rock faced off with Bentonville in a preseason scrimmage in August.  The two teams will match up this Saturday in the class 7A Championship game. The Bentonville Tigers are looking to win the program's sixth state title.

2. #1 Chandler vs. #2 Perry (AZ)

The Chandler Wolves are one win away from their third state title in the past four years. The Class 6A Championship game is a toss up between two tough teams. This is Perry's first apparence in the finals in school history.

3. #5 Mansfield vs. #9 Midway (TX)

The Mansfield football team is preparing to play against its former coach, Jeff Hulme. The two teams will both bring strong offenses to the field this Friday. Midway is coming into the 6A semifinal game undefeated. The game is being played at McLane Stadium in Waco, so niether team will beneift from a home field advantage.

4. #6 Buford vs. #11 Rome (GA)

The Buford Wolves are making an apparence in the state semifinals for the 11th-consecutive year. There, they will have their shot at redemption against the defending champions, Rome. Last season, Rome defeated Buford in the championship game. Both teams are ready to battle it out for a spot in the Class 5A Championship game.

Watch #6 Buford vs. #11 Rome


5. #1 Brentwood Academy vs. #4 Montgomery Bell Academy (TN)

This is the third year in a row that Brentwood will match up against Montgomery Bell in a state championship game. In both of the last two state title games, Brentwood was able to pull out wins over MBA. However, both teams have lost a number of graduating seniors after those past years. When the two powerhouses met earlier in this season, the Brentwood Eagles shut out MBA 29-0.
