The University of Georgia hasn't had a truly dominant Wide Receiver since AJ Green left campus after his Junior season. Sure, there have been some good ones - Tavarres King, Michael Bennett, Malcolm Mitchell, Chris Conley and Isaiah McKenzie come to mind - but no one on Green's level.
That could soon change. Kirby Smart has gotten off to an incredibly fast start in the 2019 Class, a class which includes commitments from the top two WRs in the country: Jadon Haselwood and Dominick Blaylock.
Blaylock, the son of former Atlanta Hawks All-Star Mookie Blaylock, is a five star speedster from Walton High School in Marietta, GA.
He isn't the biggest receiver, but he has elite speed and quickness, and possesses exceptional ball skills and hands. Dawg fans should expect this guy to contribute immediately when he arrives in the fall of 2019.
Fortunately, you don't have to wait until then to see what Blaylock can do; his Walton Raiders play Roswell Friday on the NFHS Network, and you can watch this game (and a future playoff run) LIVE at 7:30 ET!
