2017-2018 Select and Elite Criteria

In order for a school to be considered for our honor roll program, they have to meet the requirements of the criteria listed below.

There will be approximately 40 schools selected for Elite status, and will be ranked accordingly to fulfilling each requirement below. Those schools that meet Elite status, but fall outside of the Top 40, will automatically fall into the Select category. The same ranking system will be in place for Select schools.

Pressures of Production - The NFHS Network Heads to Ireland

The NFHS Network is proud to broadcast high school sports from all across the country; but come Friday, September 2nd, we'll be able to add "International Broadcast" to our resume.

The NFHS Network will be traveling to Dublin, Ireland to broadcast three high school football games in the Aer Lingus American Football Showcase

In its third year, the NFHS Network recognition program salutes top performing schools across the nation. Elite and Select schools demonstrate professional, excellent broadcasting skills while covering sports and events at their schools.

Our School Recognition Program requirements have been updated for this school year.  Schools that meet the following criteria will earn the distinction of being recognized as a Select or Elite School.  Select Schools demonstrate excellent broadcasting skills, and Elite Schools not only have excellent broadcasting skills, but also excel in promoting their events and generating funds for their schools.
