**UPDATED SUBMISSION DEADLINE**
It's getting close to that time of year again - time to celebrate an entire school year's worth of hard work and dedication. We already KNOW how incredible all of our SBP schools are, but now is your chance to show everyone else what you've accomplished.
It's hard to believe that this is already the THIRD annual NFHS Network Awards, but here we are. We've added a few categories to this year's show, so read below to see every award we'll be handing out.
We'd also like to encourage you to send us your bloopers. There's no award for Best Blooper, but we would like to intermingle them into the show. So if you're fine with us laughing with you (not at you), send your bloopers and funny clips to us, as well.
The submission deadline is APRIL 1st, so don't waste any time! Put together your BEST pitch and show us what you've got! Then tune in on April 26th to see the results announced LIVE on our Awards Show.

Best Overall School Broadcast Program
Submit a 1-2 minute video highlighting SBP that demonstrates how the program has benefitted the students, school and community
Best New School
Given to a school that joined in the past year (2016-2017) and demonstrated a high level of production
To be considered - submit a 1-2 minute video highlighting SBP
Best Live Sports Broadcast
Given to the school that produced the best live, sports broadcast based on integrated use of production elements such as graphics, audio quality, camera work and unique programming or production elements such as replay, switched multi-cameras and unique camera use within the production.
To be considered - school must submit a video showcasing the features of their live broadcast (different sports/different camera angles/commentating/use of graphics and overlays)
Best Original Programming
Given to the school that produced the best original programming based on content, features, audio quality, camera work, writing, editing and other production elements.
To be considered - school must submit the title, date, and a brief description (no more than 100 words) of the unique features of the broadcast it would like to nominate. Qualifying programming includes, but is not limited to: packaged broadcasts, studio shows, and feature stories (NO Morning News as this is now it’s own category).
Best Student Broadcaster
Student must submit a one minute, personal highlight video of calls from this past year's broadcasts
Highlight of the Year
To be considered for this award, a school must submit the title, date, and a brief description (no more than 100 words) of the unique features of the highlight it would like to nominate. Schools are also encouraged to share social media metrics (shares, likes, retweets, etc)
SBP Teacher of the Year
To be considered - nominations can be submitted by students, fellow teachers or Account Managers from the NFHS Network. Should include a brief writeup of why said teacher is deserving
NFHS Network Marketing Award
New this year, the NFHS Network will award a School Broadcast team for promoting their programs to their school community. Must be creative in their promotions of events, graphics, and content.
To be considered - schools must be creative in their promotions and branded within their community. There must be a strong presence on social media, as well as permanent placements on their school websites. Creativity and reach will play a strong role in this decision. Please submit social media channels, examples of your most creative promotions, as well as any and all websites that your broadcasts are marketed.
Best News Show
Given to the program that best executes and delivers their morning news program
To be considered- send in examples of your morning news show, and a summary of what the show is used for and how it is executed (i.e. morning announcements, weekly updates, etc.)
Best Hype/Promo Video
We know many schools produce hype/promotional videos for their schools and sports teams, this year we would like to award the school that has the best one
